Pittnauer Burgendlander Rot

In stock

Say hello to your new favorite weeknight sipper and take an easy step back into the world of Austrian red wine. This wine is medium bodied, finishes gently, and shows spiced black cherry and black raspberry on the palate. Biodynamic farming practices and use of natural yeast speak to the care in which this wine is made. Insane value and a great pair with bold cheeses.

Weingut Pittnauer is located in the wine region of Neusiedlersee. The special microclimate of this district is characterized by Austria's longest hours of sunlight, high humidity, and moderate temperatures influenced by the large, shallow lake, the Neusiedlersee. The estate is run by the young couple Brigit and gerhard Pittnauer. The Pittnauer's are considered St. Laurent specialists and their Pinot Noir is one of the best varietal representatives from Austria.
