12-Month Mimolette
$8.99Out of stock
Rumored to have been Charles de Gaulle’s favorite cheese, at first glance Mimolette looks more like a cantaloupe than a dairy delicacy. Sealed within the bright orange color, however, are subtle and caramel flavors that make this cheese a crowd favorite. Inspired by the Dutch Edam cheese and aged for twelve months, Mimolette has a hard, inedible rind and smooth texture. Best served with light white wines or soft reds, Mimolette can be cubed and served as and appetizer or grated on a salad. Learn More -
Sar Vecchio
$8.49**Festival Feature!** With more than 25 awards to its name, SarVecchio is the most decorated Parmesan cheese in America. Earning a gold medal in its category at the 2005 and 2007 American Cheese Society competition, this cheese has a history of excellence, yet it was born out of chance. When Kraft closed one of their Wisconsin cheesemaking facilities, the workers bought it back and created SarVecchio out of dedication to their craft. The nutty, caramel flavor and crystalline texture develop as the cheese ages for at least 20 months. Learn More
